Space Muppets Tour de Force 
I just finished watching all episodes of
Farscape. For whoever does not know it, the first time you watch it you get a feeling of "muppets in space". Actually its a nice science fiction tv series with a story and much better integration of alien life forms than usual. The puppets are made by the Jim Henson Company. What's nice is, that the interaction between humanoids and puppets does not feel as awkward as in other science fiction movies.
The first time I watched Farscape I didn't have the time to watch it regularly which turns out to be bad for understanding the story. Just like Babylon 5, where its much worse, you have to watch almost all episodes in order to understand whats going on. This is even more true for the
third and
fourth season. Unlike Star Trek, there are much less nonsense episodes that could have happened anytime. Maybe thats unfortunate because Farscape could have lasted longer that way.
Looks like there was a really bad cliffhanger after the fourth season. The series was discontinued at that time and just got an ending mini series only after heavy fan compaigns. And they got a great ending. The story intensifies during season advancement and ends in a tour de force at the end (
Peacekeeper Wars)
I managed to watch it all within about four weeks. Now my wife is even more convinced I am crazy in my totality. Well, maybe I should not mention FF XII anymore.
